The Security Industry Association will form a committee of experts to work with lawmakers as they look into adopting new school security initiatives. In a letter to President Barack Obama, the Silver Spring, Md.-based association said it supports a "holistic approach" to school security that includes security assessments, investment in technology and emergency preparedness training for education and law enforcement personnel.
